Edward Saint Pé,
President/Founder, CEO & Meteorologist
Saint Pe' began his television as a Page at the NBC Television Network in New York City in 1977. Returning home to the South after this start, he followed the path of his hero, Ted Turner and turned his TV Weathercast job at the local affiliate into a business by building a satellite uplink and sending out custom TV Weathercasts to markets around the country in 1991. This was the first time localized and customized TV Weathercasts with the on-air meteorologist had ever been attempted, and National Weather Network, as it was then known landed on the front page of the Wall Street Journal November 2nd, 1994, calling the company "A true pioneer".
Saint Pe' is an avid filmmaker and writes, directs and acts. He is the Founder and Director of the Mississippi Film Institute. which produces the annual Mississippi International Film Festival each late October in Jackson, MS ( www.msfilm.org). He is father to three daughters and is married to his wife Lacey, who inspires him to keep on keeping on.
